Research title: Prolactinoma and Paternal Deprivation Study
This study aims to investigate the psychosocial impacts of paternal deprivation and subsequent anxiety among individuals diagnosed with prolactinoma.
Participants will provide demographic information and complete two standardized questionnaires assessing their relationship with parental figures and general anxiety.
Following completion, participants will receive a debrief form explaining the study's objectives and researchers' contact details for support. Data collected adheres to GDPR and DPA 2018, stored securely and anonymized using unique codes. Participants' identities remain confidential, and data will only be accessible to authorized researchers. Results may be disseminated at scientific venues while ensuring individual anonymity. Participants receive entry into a prize draw as compensation, with no direct harm anticipated. Participants can withdraw at any time without penalty, and data will be destroyed upon request.
Queries or concerns can be directed to the lead researcher or principal investigators, with further recourse to the Faculty of Health and Human Sciences Ethics Committee if needed.
